Theatermania: Slam Frank to Return Off-Broadway
Andrew Fox and Joel Sinensky’s satirical woke musical begins previews at the Orpheum Theatre in September.
Slam Frank, the musical comedy that reimagines Holocaust diarist Anne Frank as “Anita Franco,” a genderqueer Latinx girlboss spitting rhymes like Lin-Manuel Miranda, will open for a full off-Broadway run. The show begins previews at the Orpheum Theatre on September 17 ahead of an official opening night October 4. Performances are scheduled through November 30.
